The fourth and last of my series of works themed by the seasons.


Another girl with a big dress... Spring marks the transition from winter into summer (ironicly, it was the last season I made, and winter was the first one. Kinda backwards ).

The northern hemisphere begins to warm significantly causing new plant growth to "spring forth," giving the season its name. Snow begins to melt and streams swell with runoff and spring rains. Most flowering plants bloom this time of year, in a long succession sometimes beginning even when snow is still on the ground, and continuing into early summer. So we have snow yet, but life emerging around.


I really lost track of the days I worked in this piece. My Pc is threatning crash about every 3 hours, so... But I guess I worked on her for almost a week ( O.o) . I did a mix of pictures to create a base and start to draw using it as reference. Sarah lancaster (Chuck) is the model to the face. And my Spring girl is a redhead with freckles .

Open Canvas and PSP. I did the base in OP, and the shading/coloring is kinda lame because my tablet refused to work, and I had to use a mouse... This is the only thing which is bothering me (the color and the shades could look way better); otherwise, i'm pretty happy about the results ! I LOVED her acessories, all of them came out pretty well.
