I Want Candy - Cotton Candy

Third piece in my "I want Candy" Project, portraiting Cotton Candy. In this project basically we have girls and sweets, and all we can do with these two elements (no kinky things, at least for now, lol!!).

Cotton Candy is a form of spun sugar. Since it consists of mostly air, servings are large. Many people consider eating cotton candy part of the quintessential experience of a visit to a fairground or circus. The most popular color of cotton candy is pink, though any color can be made. Eating cotton candy is often considered only one part of its allure; the second part is the act of watching it being produced in a machine.

I LOVE girls with pink hair . I started with a base image made of 2 different pictures. This time was time to do software tests! I did the base art line using Sketchbook Pro (aproved ). Then I traced it using Illustrator. it gave me the clean lines I love so much, but I had to do some adjustments, because it killed some of the face details. The reason the black, blunt lines are back is because I still trying to figure out how to work with Illustrator, and I didn't find how change the color to the usual light brown.

The background was made from varios PNG images from food and sweeties from various places (d500, zcool and heroturko).

I wanted her to look really girlie, really 'lil' princess with a twist' look. I'm in love with her pink afro . The funny thing about this series is: the first girl came out really my free hand drawings look-a-like; the second was a perfect manga chick, and the third came out really with a more realistic look. It just feels right. What do you think?
